and I was wondering, who here has got the oldest car with the lowest genuine mileage? No engine swaps!

Surely the winner will be an Alfa.

Every year, month or week spent sitting in the garage, broken down, must be subtracted from the actual age - I think that's only fair.

1968 with 50,000 miles. All original! Except for putting MORE power through it now.

I have a '70 with 35K on it.

1973 911 with 59,600 miles... I know it's not the winner but still an awfully low number for an original owner car.

What if it is not broken just taken apart?

Dad has a 1987 Monte Carlo SS - 26,XXX miles

You know, I haven't really thought this through properly. How do you mark people's score? Would a '48 with 50k beat a '64 with 10k. Whatever, I just want to know what you guys have got

I don't know, I haven't thought about that - you must help define the criterion.

'06 with 17k.

Not me, my 66' F100 is running up on 330,000 miles.

My 68 Camaro has 35,xxx original miles on the body. rebuilt the original motor after a backfire stripped the cam gear on the distributer. the suspension is still all original and still works great!

Measure by annual mileage I think. Anything newer than 15 years doesn't count

'89 944 with 30,000 miles. 100% original.

My '55 has about 50k on it

That might be even more impressive.

It made it all the way up to 320,000 miles on the original 240 before it lost compression in the number 5 cylinder. Now it is running a 300.

Nice!
My 68 Mercury Montego only has 50k miles. I've put on about 4-500. But I'm putting quite a bit more power through it now...

I'm not really in the running here, but still proud to say my 97 Civic just recently crossed only 110,000 miles.

I used to have a mint '79 Rabbit with 35,000 km (21,750 mi), but that was in '96. A 17 year old car today I guess would be a '97 model. Holy shit, where did all the time go? I'm old.

Not to be overly cynical, but it seems like a lot of these "runs great" cars mentioned have five digit odometers that could easily have rolled over. Cars don't like to sit for 40 years...

Grimace had 23,xxx original miles before it's engine swap.

I have a '93 Miata with 89k... bought it at 63k. That's notably low for NA's

I think my 83' w123 with only 105k is respectable.

1979 Rx7 with 35K.. All original.

1976 911S with 218,xxx miles. Hmmm, yea I guess I lose then.

Really late to the discussion, but my 73 Baja Bug has 82,000. Rebuilt motor though, so I don't technically count it haha

I recognize that speedo, another Series 3 owner!
Mine is a 72 RHD in the US, which gets you a lot of double takes and interesting red light conversations.
